The Small Meadow Katydids

One of the few groups that we cover that sing during the day as well as at night. These tiny long-horned grasshoppers are very common is grassy fields and roadsides. Walking knee-high grass will no doubt reveal a multitude of these singers. Since they are small, their songs are low in volume and high in pitch. These singers will test your hearing.
